Hey, I’m Jim — founder of SUP Züri. After years of surfing around the world, I discovered a different kind of connection with water right here in Zürich. Yep, there's no waves, but where surfing is my Yang, stand-up paddling became my Yin. It give's you space. To slow down and relax in nature — far from the intensity of surfing, the locals and the crowds in the ocean. As an added bonus, you can maintain your fitness, hang out with friends and meet new people, here on Zürisee.
SUP Züri was born from that balance. A love for movement, nature, and community. Our goal? To get people outside, onto the water, and into the present moment. To be healthy, happy and appreciate our environment. Come and paddle with us. Stay stoked and get on the water! 🌊
SUP Instructor

Are you passionate about the water, love teaching, and want to be part of a friendly, outdoor-focused community?
SUP Züri is looking for a qualified Stand Up Paddle Board instructor to join our team this summer.
What You’ll Do - Lead group SUP lessons, private coaching and lake tours. Ensure safety on the water and provide clear, encouraging instruction. Help with equipment setup and client check-ins. Be an ambassador for SUP Züri’s vibe: positive energy, healthy, and nature-conscious.
You Are - A certified SUP instructor (e.g, by ISA or similar) CPR/First Aid trained (or willing to complete certification).
Friendly, professional, and good with people of all ages. Fluent in English (German is a bonus). Reliable and all round nice person.
